Meet The Woman Behind the Mission

Kelli Casto is the founder of Produce Pac, a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping seniors in our community. Our goal is to ensure that no senior goes without access to essential services. By purchasing a Produce Pac, you not only get fresh produce for yourself, but you also help us provide a Produce Pac to a needy senior in our community. Join our mission today and help us make a difference in the lives of our seniors.

Her work began in occupational therapy, where she witnessed people lose independence not because they couldn’t heal, but because they lacked access to nutritious food and basic medical equipment. She began collecting donated equipment from her one-bedroom apartment and distributing it directly to those in need.

During COVID, as seniors became isolated and food-insecure, Kelli loaded her car with produce and hosted pop-up farmers markets in her community. That grassroots effort has since grown to serve over 96,000 seniors, families, and caregivers.

Today, Produce PAC is a mission-driven neighborhood produce store focused on affordability, accessibility, and education—offering fresh, often local produce, accepting SNAP/EBT, and teaching people how to use, grow, juice, and preserve their food. Grounded in lived experience and recovery, Kelli believes lasting change happens when people are met with compassion, structure, and real support.

Our Mission
